Dinner

Since I am budgeting money to have enough for Christmas Dinner, I have been cutting some corners. like for dinner tonight, Taco bake.
1 can crescent rolls
1 lb ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 lb processed cheese (like, Velveeta)

Brown the ground beef, spray the inside of a pie pan with cooking spray, line it with the crescent rolls, yes all the way up the sides, add the taco seasoning plus 3/4 cup water to the ground beef, bring it to a boil and let it simmer for about five minutes, add the seasoned beef to the pie shell, cut the cheese into cubes and sprinkle on top of the seasoned beef and bake it in the oven for at least 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

And it's dinner, quick, and good.

I have made a similar pie before - very good. I top with a little sour cream, and diced tomatoes/lettuce. yum
